Baker Lake Sockye Opens Saturday, July 6th

This is a fishery that many look forward to every year. The Baker Lake Sockeye fishery is extemely popular, as not only are the fish fantastic table fare, but the scenery is spectacular.

Baker Lake opens this Saturday, July 6th and will have a three sockeye limit with  18 inch minimum size restriction.

As of June 30th, there has been 1,357 fish transported from the trap into Baker Lake. I am sure there will be a good number transported in the next few days, adding to those already there.
