Ling Cod Reports

So far the reports that we have received from our ling cod anglers has been mixed. Overall, I would have to say that fishing has not been fantastic by any means. I have talked with a number of anglers that have managed to get thei fish the past two days but have had to work for them. A number of  good fishermen blanked both days even though they put in quite a bit of effort.

The Edmonds pier which normally produces a good number of lings on opening day was a very poor showing producing just a single legal fish by late yeasterday afternoon.

We still have plenty of time to fish for this popular fish with the season running through June 15th. Remember the limit is a single fish per angler between 26 - 36 inches.
