The Spring Chinook Fishery on the Columbia will close at the end of the day Friday, April 8th 2016. This is one day sooner than was scheduled. I am sure there will be lots of irritated anglers and guides that were planning to fish Saturday.

So far the reports we have been receiving from the lower Columbia River have been quite good. In fact if the fishing holds up the way it has been I don't think we will make it into April before we reach our quota and it is closed down...
