Yellow Perch Fishing At Kenmore's Log Boom Park
The perch fishing off Kenmore's Log Boom Park has been quite good recently. If you are looking for something to do with the kids and end up with some good eating fillets for a fish fry then this just might be for you. This fishery is a very simple one requireing just an average trout outfit with a couple of slip bobbers, bobber stops, slip sinkers, swivels, a few #6 or 8 worm hooks and some worms. You might have to adjust the depth of your bait a few times to figure out at what depth the fish are at but it shouldn't take too long to figue that out. If there are other anglers there before you that are doing well you can ask them or just take a look at the distance they have their bobber stops set to get into the zone a little quicker. Besides the perch one can also expect to see other species being landed such as crappie, bluegill, bass as well as an occasional trout.
