Once again WDFW is closing more fishing, this time the Chehalis River system. Once again this is due to low returns on steelhead. I am sure we will be seeing more in the very near future.

Retention guidelines on white sturgeon are expected to be meet with current catch rates. Both Bonneville and Dalles pools are going to catch and release. Bonneville on the 14th and Dalles on the 18th of February...

WDFW has announced that portions of the Snohomish and Stillaguamish River systems will reopen for hatchery steelhead retention as hatchery broodstock collection has ended for the season.

Tomorrow, January 31st will be the last day to fish on most of the Puget Sound rivers. The only exception will be some of the hatchery terminal areas that will remain open through the 15th of February....
